This was an idea that came to me a LONG time ago...but never got to it. I have most of the story to this done...but not all the way.

Here's what I got so far:

In the land of the real world, there exists the surface..and the core...The core, home of the Devil, rises a war between two gods of hate. The surface, with the main heroes Sonic and co. Satan, brother of the older devil Blue Devil, managed to use his power to force Blue Devil's evil nature to arise and sends him to the surface, out of the core. Blue Devil, now on the surface, was forced to become his true self by soul and opens a portal to the mystical world, the Dragon Realms. Sonic, along with his friends, knew nothing of what accered. Just s few hours later after the summoning of the portal, shadow creatures began to enter the real world, endangering the lives of many. Sonic's best friend, Tails, noticed something strange about these creatures. As he studied them, he came across that these creatures were coming from another world. Sonic, eager to close the creatures gateway, decided to let Tails make a machine to open a portal to this world. Little did they know, Shadow and Silver were not to far behind. As Tails completes the machine, he tells his friends how it works and opens the portal to the Dragon realms. As they enter, Shadow and Silver go as well, knowing that Sonic will need help. They enter a world filled with magic and wonder, the Realms of the Dragons. They come to find that in this world, many lengendary creatures thribe here. They later obtain eggs of a mystirious kind and if taken cared of right...will hatch a creature of power, speed, wisdom, and courage. The main heroes hatched, raised, and trained their own dragons. Learning more of these creatures of their abilities...and their own. Tails, looking over the land, found that they needed the help of these dragons to explore, battle, protect, and care for the land and themselves. As they trained and got to know thier dragons, the traits of the dragons became their own, and obtain magic in their blood. They too learn that their abilities have inhanced and learn to control it, and improving. Learning new spells and magic attacks, and combining their powers with their partner dragons to defend themselves. The creatures grew stronger over the time, sending even more powerful versions into the real world. Sonic and co along with their dragons obtained portal gems that allow them to jump between worlds. The conections between dragon and rider grew stronger over time, to the point where the dragon felt every feeling the rider did. Many arguments, disagreements, and fights accured in the group of heroes, causing some to part to do things themselves. They later meet up again, near the fight with the Dark Dragon that had appeared there long ago, and fight together once again to defeat this dragon, and saving both worlds.
