Zorra's ultimate evil experiments were carried out on Sonic, Silver, and Scourge, thanks to Shadow. They were all injected with an unknown substance, shocked with a strong jolt of electricity, and mutated into these strange creatures. Scourge screamed and cried in pain, as he underwent a painful transformation. Every one of his black spikes are filled with poison. These evil experiments took place in Eggman's base, and Eggman was hard at work making a formula that would allow Zorra to remain 'out' forever. All Eggman wanted was for her to make Sonic and the others into his greatest weapons. Knuckles, Julie-Su, and Sara came to everyone's rescue. Tails and Espio secretly came along, ruined Eggman's plan to make Zorra's formula, and shut down Eggman's base. Furious, Eggman realized his 'ultimate weapons' were complete, and he sent them to fight their own friends. In the end, Sonic and the others were saved and brought home to be cured.
